A 7-OH tablet is a finished, standardized product — which means it has the same enemies as any concentrated botanical: heat, light, humidity, and time. Stored well, your pack behaves exactly as labeled. Stored badly, it quietly does not. Here is the complete storage guide.
The four rules
- Cool: below about 25°C (77°F) at all times. Cars in summer routinely hit 50°C+ — the single worst place to store these, even “just for a day.”
- Dark: direct sunlight degrades botanical material. A drawer or cupboard beats a counter shelf every time.
- Dry: humidity is the enemy of tablet integrity. Bathrooms are humid, damp basements are worse. A dry drawer is the target.
- Sealed: keep the pack closed between uses. Every opening introduces air and moisture.
Opened packs: the practical routine
After each use, push the pack closed immediately and get it back to its drawer. If you split a tablet, do it with clean dry hands and keep the pieces in the sealed pack, not on a table. Users who keep a pack open on a nightstand for a week of nightly use are exposing it to light, air and whatever humidity their room has — all four enemies at once.
Shelf life
Unopened and stored properly, Dopium packs retain verified potency well beyond 12 months; the lot date on your pack is your reference. If a tablet is visibly discolored, soft, cracked, or smells off, do not use it — contact us with the batch number and we will sort it out under our refund & returns policy.
Travel notes
Keep packs in their sealed packaging in your carry-on if you can, out of the overhead bin’s sun. And a hard rule for everyone: 7-OH is subject to jurisdiction rules — before crossing any state or national border, check what the destination allows.
