This is the post every first order should be paired with. It is short on purpose, because it is a protocol, not a story — read it before your first tablet, not after.
Step 0: The preconditions
You are 21 or older (the site’s gate is real — see the age verification explainer), you are in a jurisdiction where these products may lawfully be sold (compliance page), you are not taking prescription medication that interacts with opioid-active substances, and you are not combining with alcohol or any depressant — that rule has its own post, why mixing is dangerous, and it is the highest-stakes rule on the site. If any precondition is no, this protocol does not apply, and the who should not use post is the one to read instead.
Step 1: The first dose
A quarter of one tablet from the 180mg range — 15mg. That is the dose, full stop, for most people. Break the tablet with clean dry hands into quarters and take one piece, chewed. If you are small-framed or particularly sensitive, a half-quarter is a legitimate starting point; the 180mg guide covers the pack, and the dosing basics post covers the splitting mechanics. Do not “test” a full tablet on day one — the quarter exists precisely so day one is a safe question, not a verdict.
Step 2: The wait
Effects arrive on a 15–45 minute window and build from there, running a total of roughly 2–5 hours (onset & duration). Set a 60-minute timer before you judge whether it worked. “Nothing yet” at the 30-minute mark is the most common trigger for a second dose that turns a first experience into a bad one — the timer is the countermeasure, and the no-re-dose rule in dosing basics is the law of this step.
Step 3: The log
Three lines in a notes app: date and time, dose (15mg, quarter tablet), and what happened — onset timing, how it felt, duration, anything notable, sleep that night. Repeat for the full first day, and again on days you consider dosing again. The log is the difference between “I think 15mg was about right” and “15mg produced onset at 25 minutes, duration to ~4pm, no issues” — the second version is a decision you can actually make from.
Step 4: The next day, at the earliest
A full day before anything more. On day two, the decision is one of three: hold (15mg again, to confirm consistency), step up a fraction (half a tablet, 30mg), or stop (the experience was not for you — a complete and reasonable outcome). The responsible use guide covers the pattern this becomes once you are past the first week.
The mistakes that make first orders bad
- The 30-minute second dose (the timer prevents it).
- The “just to be safe” full tablet after a “mild” quarter (mild is the expected quarter experience, not evidence of under-dosing).
- Alcohol “to take the edge off” (the no-mix rule — the single worst decision available on a first day).
- Starting at a strength other than 180mg (the strength chooser exists to stop this).
That is the whole protocol. The 180mg range is in the shop when you are ready, and the FAQ has the edge cases. If anything goes wrong on the way, the emergency resources are the page to have open — 911 for emergencies, 988 for support in the U.S.
